A war on every front
The ordinary person in Gaza is fighting a real war on multiple fronts, and each front crushes him in every sense of the word
A war on the front of securing daily flour.
A war on the front of providing his family’s most basic food needs.
A war on the front of greedy merchants who exploit him with outrageous prices.
A war on the front of cash liquidity, where exchange rates now exceed 50%.
A war on the front of securing water, whether for drinking or basic use.
A war on the front of displacement, between tents that offer no protection from the summer heat and near non-existent transportation.
A war on the front of medicine, which has become almost completely unavailable.
A war on the front of maintaining personal and family safety amid growing chaos and security breakdowns.
A war on the front of senseless death and genocide that makes no distinction between a human being and life itself.
This is the reality of the ordinary person — collapsing as if they were a towering building being blown up from its foundations.

Watched the Channel 4 documentary on Gaza: The War on medics. It’s absolutely heartbreaking & so horrific it was almost unbearable. That our Government is allied with Israel is deeply disturbing & we must hold our Government to account.
